What area are you “making space” for?
“Writing helps me connect to other people from all walks of life. I observe more than I interact and it’s lonely doing so but the insight and lessons I learn from this way of life are more valuable and precious than anything I could ever ask for.”Priscilla Kwateng, Arrupe College of Loyola University
Share your journey and why this is important to you
Writing is important to me because it’s a way of holding up a mirror to see the beautiful and ugly sides of human nature. There are truths about life that are inexplicable, but there are many more that need to be put into words so that we can learn from them.
Writing helps me connect to other people from all walks of life. I observe more than I interact and it’s lonely doing so but the insight and lessons I learn from this way of life are more valuable and precious than anything I could ever ask for.
How would you like to inspire others?
I would like to inspire others to make space in their lives by showing them that even when life is not easy, now matter how hopeless things may seem, they are never alone or weak.
I want to inspire others through hardship. I want to remind people that they have the strength to persevere despite all the odds. I hope that whoever reads my work is inspired to make changes, little or big, to lift themselves up and thrive in the positive aspects of their life and personality.
As a friend of mine used to say, “There’s always light in the dark.”
