Travel journaling is important to me because I’ve always loved travel and being creative but have been too shy to actually share my passion. That ends in 2020. This year, I will share and keep on creating! Regardless of my viewership, I’m still excited even to document my beautiful world travels.

Share your journey and why this is important to you

I’m tired of only letting my hobbies be hobbies. I want to bring my artistic ideas to my everyday life. I’ve always told myself that I wasn’t good enough to pursue my creative side, and I always would quit before I became good at something. In the past, I’ve pursued video editing, web design, photography… this happened every time.

However, this year the unimaginable happened. I got married (during a freaking pandemic) and moved to Mexico with my husband. Never in a million years I could have imagined living this life, and it was all because we stepped out of our comfort zone and COMMITTED to being uncomfortable. We committed to living in a foreign country and learning a foreign language. We committed to leaving the comfort of a “normal” job and instead made space for creative careers and learning.

How would you like to inspire others?

I want to encourage you to welcome creation in your life. It doesn’t matter what you are creating. It doesn’t matter whether it’s amazing… or whether it’s boring. You MADE it. You brought it to life, and you should be proud of that. I am bringing our travel journey to life through documenting it for the whole world to see. I am proud of it. I want to inspire others to be proud of your own creative endeavors as well.
