“When I started college, I was nervous about going to clubs, not because I wasn’t willing to branch out, but because I thought they weren’t valuable to me on paper. I realized that I didn’t want my entire life to be on a resume or an application. Now, my activities help me relax from school and work, and I’m more balanced.”

I’ve spent the last four years doing everything for college applications. Even though they might be fun and enriching, the emotional reward was secondary to my professional development. How would you like to inspire others?
I want to make sure people know that they’re not “too busy” to have fun. You can prioritize it. I’m finishing my work and doing just as well this year, and I’ve not only picked up more classes but also more hobbies. I allow myself to have fun instead of just sleep when I’m not working.
