What area are you “making space” for?
“I take writing very seriously; writing is my favorite part of academia. Everything I write is a mirror of my beliefs and feelings. My writing reflects the inner workings of my mind. I write about my personal thoughts which range from strong opinions to fantasies.”Amy Vady, Student at University of Colorado Denver
Share your journey and why this is important to you
The toughest thing I’ve found about life is the transition into adulthood. You’re suddenly supposed to be responsible and have your moral compass calibrated. You’ve been nurtured all of your life and as you get older you have to do things yourself. It sometimes feels like one must have their entire life together the moment the turn eighteen. I cope with this struggle through writing.
How would you like to inspire others?
I will inspire others by writing about how I have personally made space in my life. I have made space for personal relationships, family, school, and a job. It is important to realize that making space is not impossible–it is just a matter of compartmentalizing.
