I have been following your running tips and trying to really improve my running. I started last May as a 61 year old female who has never run before. I have now tried a 4 mile run (Turkey Trot) and a 5K yesterday. I am not happy with my performance. I can't get my 5K below 41 minutes, which I feel is too slow. I do still have to do a small amount of walking even in the 5K. What could I do to speed up and increase my distance/endurance? I am registered to run a half marathon on Feb 26. I getting nervous about my ability to accomplish this, and I really want to do it.
